Rell Maverick is a young enterprising individual coming out of Atlanta, Georgia to pursue his music career. His artistic capabilities are instantly and notably unique when compared to his peers. Never a stranger to trouble, Rell seems to just want to keep his listeners out of it as he gives them stories from his own life to give inspiration to those who understand in some fashion where he is coming from. From a convict sitting in isolation to a legitimate businessman, this has always been the struggle, but he seems to have it figured out.

He started out performing open mics and talent shows while quietly sculpting his craft. Active since 2012, Rell has created a catalogue of music which upon hearing, clearly illustrates his determination as well as his growth in the scene. Altogether Rell Maverick has created six bodies of work in total. His first two collections, I’m Not Playing and Maverick Tape, were sold primarily in the streets. They showcase a style that Maverick has built upon over the years culminating to his sixth collection, Last Day Trappin’ (April 2020), which capitalizes on everything Rell Maverick has ever done. His follow up album Vigilance was released in the summer of 2020 with songs highlighting the social, political, and racial climate we are in. Rell Maverick is slated to release his next album this fall.
